Biography

I'm currently a Information Technology PhD student at George Mason University. I received my B.S. degree from Nanjing University, Department of Software Engineering.

Summer Internship

05/2022 ~ 08/2022
Software Engineer Intern
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Seattle WA
I developed a configuration validation tool to help customers identify permission and network problems during Lambda event source mappings. The tool is deployed as AWS Lambda functions and executed by Bash scripts in command line interfaces (CLI).
06/2021 ~ 08/2021
Machine Learning Engineer Intern
Sapientai LLC, Austin TX
I assisted machine learning and data science core developers with implementing and testing the ongoing ML/AI projects. I deployed a deep learning network into a server using Python Django framework.

Research Overview

My research interests focus on security and privacy for cyber-human system; networking and multimedia technology to deliver emerging VR, AR, and MR content over challenging network environment; enhancing user experience in AR/VR display while preserving the security and privacy.

Publications

01/2020, I participated in a research team aiming to develop a human-visual-system-based biometric authentication system to guarantee user experience and privacy in VR platforms. We validated the system through an extensive evaluation, and proved that our system is reliable and convenient. Our work was accepted by Network and Distributed System Security Symposium 2020 (PDF).

04/2019, I participated in a research team evaluating the performance of 360° live video streaming on YouTube under different circumstances. Our result was accepted ACM NOSSDAV 2019 (PDF).

Projects

03/2018~06/2018, I developed an Android APP that simulates and manifests the diffusion of airborne pollution (link).

10/2017~12/2017, I participated in a 3-people team developing an online exam system. The system was based on micro-services and was deployed on a server (link).

04/2017~07/2017, I built a water temperature detecting device using Arduino micro-controller kits.

02/2016~05/2016, I participated in a 3-people team developing a stock analyzing system (link).

09/2015~01/2016, I participated in a 4-people team developing an express management system (link).
